Last Update
I would like to begin first by saying that this class was a true journey. I've learned so much about the media world that I probably never would have encountered prior to enrolling in this course. There were definitely a few moments where I got discouraged because my classmates were more advanced than I was in the curriculum but Professor Curtiss constantly worked with me and checked up on my progress. Although I did not come out of the class with the insight that I had hoped to gain, however, I learned a lot about dreamweaver and Photoshop and several other tech applications that I look forward to learning more about in the future. I truly appreciate all that I have gained from this class and having a wonderful instructor who was understanding and persistent in seeing that we understood the material.

Website Progress Update: 10/14/12
Recently in my multimedia course we have been working on building websites, both personal and professional. I have gained quite a bit of insight on making well designed websites and how to link page to different tabs on my webpage. Also, I have learned how to host my website so that it is "internet worthy" as I like to call it. I am currently working on completing my pretty little liars fashion site. It is very enjoyable and fun, however I do get a bit irritated because it is a working progress for me and my other classmates have already finished their websites in full. I think my main problem is that I want my website to be above and beyond but I forget to keep in my mind that I am not a professional yet, therefore I must settle for something a bit more simple until I am capable of creating a mind-blowing website as I plan to. Another very frustrating factor in creating my website is having great ideas in my head and not knowing how to do it in DreamWeaver. I do feel that my instructor guides me as much as she can but considering that I am not comfortable asking questions when I feel that I can figure it out on my own, I tend to lag behind. Eh...suppose asking wouldn't hurt though. On my next website, which I plan o dedicate towards my senior capstone project, I will be creating a website that communicates with awareness among low income families with a child who has cancer. I look forward on getting started on this website and hopefully get it completed.

9/6 Blog Update: Website
I have recently inquired how to alter the html (which I learned stands for hypertext markup language) on web pages to make something appear in a specific way. For instance, now I know how to italicize text on a website by adding <i> directy after the heading in the html and </i> in order to close the itlalic. Although, so far I only apprehend how to change the text features on a website, however I look forward to learning so much more! My website will be a fashion blog for teenage fashionistas, boys and gals alike(: I am really exited about getting started on this project. I can't wait to get creative and show my skills! And who knows, maybe my my website will go worldwide and everyone across the globe with a passion for fashion will know about "ourgenertionlovesswag.com"

Aaron Carter BEFORE AND AFTER
Doing this was not my favorite project but I did learn how to liquify and how much photoshop can completely distort the appearance of a person.

Although this project was not one of my favorites, I still enjoyed learning how to select particular items from a photo and paste them to another. It was really cool and I got very exited when I realized I was actually doing it correctly(: I feel as if I could have been a little more creative with this project but I like the advertisement and I plan on adding a little more style to it later on.

Summer
Over my summer break, I happened to have spent a generous amount of time resting and preparing myself for the upcoming school year. Initially I wanted to hang out with friends and enjoy the summer, however, after realizing how much I needed to do before school started I sort of neglected my friends in order to get things done. Although I did not do a lot of miscellaneous activities, I do feel accomplished the things I did get done.
